MY FAMILY'S INSTRUMENTS

GUITARS

Both of these guitars are owned by my parents. I'm restoring both of these now and will have pictures on the site as I work on them. The guitar on the left is a 16 inch koa flattop with enlarged upper bout and the one on the right is a 17 inch maple archtop not unlike a D'Angelico.

The guitar on the left is the original guitar that my uncle had restored when I was a kid. It's a 16 inch roundhole archtop with an original business card from Lyndhurst, New Jersey visible through the soundhole.

The guitar on the right is an 18 inch archtop which was already restored when we found it for another uncle of mine.

TENOR BANJOS

These are a couple of banjos owned by my parents. The instrument on the left has a great resonator back with a marquetry rose on it. The banjo on the right still has the original head with majestic stamp on it.

Both of my uncles each own tenor banjos as well.
